Camera Angles
Match on
action
Match on action is where you film a scene but when you cut
the same action is going on at the start of the next scene but at a different
angle. This type of filming is done to help the viewers constantly recognize
what is happening.
Shot reverse
shot
Shot reverse shot is where there are two people sitting down
at a table having a conversation. The first shot is of both characters and then
the camera switches to a different camera looking over character 1s shoulder,
then it switches to a camera that is looking over character 2s shoulder. The 1800 rule is where you have two people having a conversation and if the camera starts behind one character the when it goes around it cannot go past character two.

Why I Chose AS Medis Studies
I chose AS Media Studies because I enjoy editing films and pictures. I also like making short video clips. By taking AS Media Studies I will develop my editing skills and learn how to use a wide range of techniques to edit short clip and films. After the two year i hope to come away with all the techniques and knowledge of how to edit films and photos. I like to take still pictures and make short film clips and adding music. I didn't do media in GCSE but I heard from a few of my friends that it was good and very interesting.
