The Walt Disney institution is one of the
five biggest conglomerate companies in the world. A conglomerate company is
where there is one main company and it owns all different types of smaller
companies. Such as Walt Disney is the main company and it owns touchstone
pictures, holly wood pictures, ABC.com, ESPN and many more. They own more companies then you would ever imagine.
Walt Disney owns touchstone picture that
makes films that contain violent scenes and adult behavior, but when watching
the titles you don’t see the Walt Disney logo, this is because they don’t want
to be associated with violent behavior in film because they are a family orientated
company and when you think of Walt Disney films you think of mickey mouse,
princesses and princes, lion king and many more. 
The other four conglomerate companies are
Sony corparation of America which owns 'Columbia pictures', News corparation which owns '20th Century fox', Time Warner which owns 'Waner Brothers' and Viacom which owns 'Paramount'.
