'The Dark Knight' film opening
‘The Dark Knight’ is a Warner Bros. picture, which is an
action/adventure. It was released in July 16, 2012 it was directed by
Christopher Nolan. In this opening scene all the logos and titles are in black
and blue which shows horror and the fonts are bold this makes them stand out
which then the viewer will take notice. They use an extra long shot on the
first shot of the film so that you know where the scene is being shot and as
they zoom in it make the viewer wonder what is going to happen next. As the window
smashes you see a man with a clown mask on and as they are breaking into the
bank they start describing on of the main characters the ‘Joker’. When the show
the man standing at the end of the road holding a clown mask and standing with
he back to the camera this makes me wonder what does he look like? And why
hasn’t he got his mark on? As they zoom in on the mark it builds up the tension
on what is going to happen next. After that it goes back to the two men in the
office window, as they zip wirer down to the roof of the bank they use a Birdseye
view shot , this is where they shoot a scene from above looking
down on the actors.
