My Groups Film Opening
My groups film opening is about a girl that is at school dancing while she is waiting for her friends, as her and her friends are leaving the school throught the main gate, they walk down towards the place were she meets her mum and she has to wait for her mum to pick her up. As her friends apart ways she is left waiting by her self at the wall. A few hours later she gets a text from her mum saying 'Sorry running late, start making you own way home xx' and as you see her walking down the road she slowly fades away.
Our film is about a girl that gets kidnapped on her way home from school. In our film opening it shows her and her friends at school. As they walk to the place where she meets her mum they all part ways but she has to wait for her mum, but her mum is running late and tells her to walk home. As she walks off down the road she fades away this is because it is a good way of showing that she goes missing. We are going to be using Lionsgate film company, as when we was researching in to other film about abduction this was the institution they used. The shots we are going to use are:- match on action and shot revers shot. The people in our film are going to be Sophie bagley as Gemma, Ashleigh Prichard as Jess and Courtney Gill as Lucy. The mise-en-scene is at a school in a dance studio, walking down the path towards the gate and the wall she sts on to wait for her mum. The mise-en-scene is important so that the audience knows that she is a school girl not just a dancer. The first shot of the film will be a close up on the school logo on the girls dance top and as we zoom out she starts to dance and the music starts to play. Other shots that we are also going to us are birds eye view as she is reading the text from her mum.
